Darren is a qualified pastry chef who works at the Walls Restaurant in Oswestry. He demonstrated several desserts including a sweet choux pastry swan.

This was an advanced class designed to inspire the students to create professional looking, delicious desserts with a difference. The workshop involved a combination of demonstration and hands-on practice. Before taking their finished creations home with them, the students were encouraged to sample their ‘works of art’, to ensure they tasted just as good as they looked.

Katie Edwards, one of the students on the course commented, “I really enjoyed the class. Darren is a great tutor with lots of knowledge and ‘tricks of the trade’ which he was happy to share with us. It’s amazing what you can do when you’re shown by a professional.”
