EVENT CANCELLED
Shropshire Music Trust has announced the cancellation of the proposed concert by the Black Dyke Band, planned for St. Chad’s Church on Sunday 26 October.
Director of Shropshire Music Trust, Kate Hogwood said: “We sincerely apologise for the cancellation of this concert due to circumstances beyond our control. Black Dyke Band have just become British Open Champions for the 30th time so they would have been greatly appreciated by our audience. Ticket refunds can be obtained from the original place and by the method they were purchased. Online sales have already been refunded. The next concert following this cancellation will be the 19 November performance by the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightment, featuring ‘Lord of the Strings’ – Richard Tognetti at Shrewsbury School.”
