Linder Myers Solicitors has opened a weekly bodily injury clinic to take place every Wednesday between 10am – 3pm in its Shrewsbury office with senior specialists on hand to discuss incidents of personal injury, medical negligence or occupational disease.
The clinics will be held by medical negligence nurse Lisa Hopwood who has previously worked as a registered nurse at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, medical negligence solicitor Tim Dennis, who recently secured £5 million for a client who was brain damaged as a result of medical negligence, and Jill Entwistle who boasts 19 years’ experience in personal injury law.
The team will be on hand to discuss and advise on queries relating to both potential new and existing claims.
Providing in-depth knowledge of a broad range of injury types, Linder Myers’ specialists also offer an empathetic approach advising clients every step of the way of their claim with clear, jargon free advice and with the aim of making the legal process of seeking deserved compensation as stress free as possible.
Recognised for his highly professional and empathetic nature, Tim Dennis has secured significant sums for clients injured as a result of negligence either in hospital or due to GP errors. This has included injuries sustained during birth, delayed or missed diagnosis and cancer cases alongside other medical negligence related injury types. Tim has a good network, and relationship with, independent medical experts across England and Wales to ensure clients receive the right compensation for their needs following an avoidable injury.
The compensation sought for injured patients would include the cost of care if needed, necessary home adaptations to make life easier post injury and loss of earnings if a return to work has been reduced or diminished completely following significant medical negligence.
Jill Entwistle has advised clients on personal injury claims for 19 years including injuries sustained due to a road traffic accident, accidents at work or in school, a slip or trip, exposure to hazardous materials, equine accidents and injuries suffered following a beauty treatment. Jill’s clients often comment on her friendly, approachable nature. Jill also has long established, excellent relationships with some of the country’s renowned independent medical experts to ensure the best outcome is delivered for clients.
The clinics are also open to those who have suffered health issues as a result of occupational disease. If you are diagnosed with mesothelioma, asbestosis, pleural thickening or asbestos related lung cancer, Linder Myers has a senior team of experts who can advise. Occupational disease claims also include vibration white finger and noise induced hearing loss.
