Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton-based Taybar Ltd is celebrating the one year anniversary of apprentice and former Thomas Adams School pupil, Chloe Humphreys, as well as her successful completion of an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration.
Steve Taylor, Managing Director of Taybar Ltd, explained: “We’re thrilled that Chloe has completed her NVQ qualification whilst learning vital on-the-job experience within her role at Taybar – she’s passionate, enthusiastic, and extremely hard-working, which already sets her well on the way to building a strong career in the industry. Chloe has been trained across various, often complex tasks, including auditing, screening, background checks, and employee work hours, which she’s taken in her stride.
“We’ve always believed in heavily investing in our staff so that they can develop in their role and learn new skills, and we’ve already booked our team on to excel and word courses, as well as our senior staff members who have recently attended leadership training, as well as a disciplinaries, grievances, and appraisals workshop. Chloe’s success has enthused us about the benefits of providing a placement to an apprentice and we’re actively seeking opportunities to expand our programme.”
The celebration comes at a time of real growth and success for the business, as in the last quarter alone, Taybar has secured a number of prestigious contract wins, as well as becoming the official sponsor of the Shrewsbury and Newport Canals Trust – a multi-million pound project that aims to reopen all of the waterways from Shrewsbury through to the Shropshire Union Canal near Newport.
