An investigation is underway after an 18-year-old man suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries after being stabbed in Dawley on Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 4pm on King Street when police officers were called to the scene.
The 18-year-old was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Officers are carrying out enquiries to identify the offenders, including viewing CCTV and carrying out house to house enquiries.
Local safer neighbourhood officers will be in the area with their mobile engagement van throughout the day to offer reassurance to residents.
