Train services disrupted by landslip at Gobowen

A landslip near Gobowen has significantly impacted train services travelling from Chester to Shrewsbury.

Transport for Wales announced that the line between Wrexham and Shrewsbury is currently closed in the direction of Shrewsbury.

As a result, trains originating from Chester will be replaced with a coach service.

Train services travelling from Shrewsbury to Chester are expected to operate as per their usual schedule.

The rail line is anticipated to remain closed until at least the end of Monday.

Transport for Wales has apologised for the inconvenience caused to passengers.
