A leading Shropshire based catering company has announced a major success in efficiency savings and increased productivity one year after relocating to new premises in Telford.
Hammonds Catering moved to a new site at Bridges Business Park in Horsehay twelve months ago, with the transfer to a smaller unit proving to be highly beneficial for the firm.
Proprietor, John Hammond, said: “The new site is deliberately smaller and more compact than our previous place on Halesfield, so we have been able to design and build the facilities to perfectly suit our needs, which in turn has led to a far smoother operation and significant gains in productivity.
“Although we have streamlined our operation we have retained the capability to expand our role with our bigger clients and will be involved with several major companies and organisational projects later this year, including the official opening of a major new factory on the T54 site at Nedge Hill in Telford.
“Further investment has seen new vehicles added to our fleet which shows the continued commitment to our customers, who cover a large radius from Telford well into the bordering counties.
“We are proud to have built a great reputation by working in conjunction with many local firms and function venues right across the county, including marquee companies and equipment hire firms, covering the whole lifespan of events from christenings, weddings and parties through to funerals.”
