MyWorkwear, the UK’s favourite provider of personalised uniform, clothing and workwear yesterday celebrated their 40th anniversary.

MyWorkwear was started in Telford, Shropshire by Mike Worthington in 1976. Originally producing combined golf bags and trolleys’ and then cycle panniers. It was when one of MyWorkwear’s largest customers Halfords needed a coverall uniform for their new car centres that MyWorkwear began to produce and supply clothing.

In the early day’s MyWorkwear manufactured and supplied bespoke garments for the many Japanese companies investing in British factories, as the garments issued from Japan did not fit the British worker.

In the 1990’s and 2000’s the way the world shopped was changing and MyWorkwear joined the revolution with their first website. It was also at this time that MWW expanded into selling workwear and uniforms that had not been made in-house.

And so to the present day. In 2016, MyWorkwear supply both businesses and individuals across the UK with uniform, workwear and clothing, offering a personalisation service so that logos, names, messages or designs can be embroidered or printed onto items purchased.

MyWorkwear continue to manufacture in-house from their premises in Halesfield 9,Telford. The friendly team look after customers from across the UK who order via the internet, telephone or via the on site shop.
