
Firefighters in Telford have dealt with two house fires since last night.
Crews were called to a fire at a home on Norfield View at around 9.46pm last night which involved curtains, a lamp and household goods.
Two fire appliances were sent to the scene with the fire having been put out before crews arrived. They administered cxygen first aid.
Also in attendance were West Mercia Police and the British Red Cross Fire and Emergency Support Service.
In Leegomery, crews were called to a fire on a first floor landing at a property on Hurleybrook Way. The fire broke out at around 1am this morning with two crews from Wellington attending.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hosereel jet and main jet to put out the fire. Positive Pressure Ventilation was used to clear smoke from the property along with a thermal imaging camera to check for any hot spots.
West Midlands Ambulance Service and West Mercia Police also attended.
