Two-vehicle collision near Much Wenlock leaves one trapped

Emergency services responded to a two-vehicle collision at Harley Hill, near Much Wenlock yesterday evening.

The incident occurred at around 6.55pm, prompting a response from fire appliances from Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury, and Wellington.

Firefighters utilised hydraulic cutting equipment to extricate one individual who was trapped within their vehicle.

The casualty was then placed in the care of awaiting ambulance crews.

Police were also present at the scene to manage traffic flow.
