A man was due to appear in court today following a house fire in Telford at the weekend.

Police have charged a man with two offences – arson with intent to endanger life and arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered.
The charge follows a severe house fire in Telford on Saturday evening. Fire crews were called to the semi-detached property on Hayward Avenue in Donnington at around 6.17pm.
Six fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington.
Operations, Fire Investigation and Safety officers also attended.
Crews spent around four hours at the scene using hose reel and main jets to extinguish the fire.
West Midlands Ambulance Service and Police also attended.
