A man was yesterday arrested by police on suspicion of driving whilst being under the influence of drugs.
Officers were on patrol on the A458 near to Ford when they had cause to stop a vehicle in relation to a traffic offence at around 6.55pm.
During the routine stop a drug swipe was taken from the driver which proved to be positive.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “The local male driver was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst being unfit through drugs and transported to Shrewsbury custody suite.
“He was later bailed for further enquiries.”
