Thousands of pounds worth of damage has been caused following an arson attack at a Shrewsbury bowling club.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the incident at Greenfields Bowling Club on Falstaff Street in Shrewsbury.
The incident happened between 9pm last night and and 12.15am today.
Offenders are thought to have started a fire outside the rear of the property, which later spread to the inside.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and one covering jet to put out the blaze.
Anyone with information or who saw suspicious activity in the area at the time is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 9S of Wednesday 1 April.
