The rider, a 17-year-old boy from the Brookside area of Telford, was seen by officers on Tuesday 9 December to be pulling wheelies and driving in such a manner that was both dangerous and unacceptable. Due to this he had his bike seized under Section 59 of the police reform Act 2002.
Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police wish to reassure local residents that this type of behaviour will not be tolerated and police will use all powers at their disposal to ensure that local communities do not suffer from antisocial behaviour.
Over the coming weeks and months officers at Malinsgate Police Station in Telford will focus on the individuals that continue to use off road bikes and mini-motors in an antisocial manner.
