The auction, which is being arranged by auctioneers Halls at the Guildhall, Shrewsbury on Friday, September 7 at 3pm, is part of Shropshire Council’s programme to sell assets that are surplus to requirements.
The properties include Swan Hill Depot, Ellesmere, which has a guide price of £175,000 to £200,000 and comprises a single storey brick built shippon, two-bay Dutch barn and a modular site office on a 0.30 of an acre site.
The Squash Courts, Market Drayton Cricket Club, Betton Road Market Drayton will go under the hammer with a guide price of £10,000 to £14,000 while Whitchurch Driving Centre, Whitchurch Drive, Whitchurch, which is used by the Driving Standards Agency as a test centre, is valued at between £22,000 and £25,000.
The remaining lots comprise parcels of land ranging from 0.15 of an acre west of Dou-Kel, Bucknell, which has a guide price of £5,000 to £7,000 to 20.07 acres of land at Polesgate Farm, Pontesbury, near Shrewsbury, which is valued at between £100,000 to £120,000.
Two parcels of pastureland, which extend to 8.13 acres and 5.91 acres at Colemere, Ellesmere, are on offer at £45,000 to £50,000 and £30,000 to £40,000 respectively.
The other properties are: 1.4 acres of unmanaged woodland at Dodds Green, Alveley (£1,000 to £2,000), 1.28 acres of woodland at Upper Ludstone, Claverley (£2,000 to £4,000), 0.25 of an acre of land at Birch Road, Ellesmere (£3,000 to £5,000), 1.53 acres of pastureland at Beech Drive, Ellesmere (£15,000 to £20,000); 0.23 acres of land at Barrow Street, Much Wenlock (£15,000 to £20,000); 0.70acres of unmanaged woodland at Little Grimmer, Worthen, Minsterley, near Shrewsbury (£500 to £1,000) and 0.10 acres of land at Bean Bank, Mill Road, Woollerton (£10,000).
