Around 300 plants were found in the premises at the Old Coach House in Bucknell.
Officers called at one of the homes yesterday afternoon to execute a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act. They found cannabis plants under cultivation and a search at neighbouring premises led to the discovery of further plants.
Two men aged 36 and 39, together with an 18-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.
They remain in custody at Shrewsbury police station for questioning.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said today: “A total of around 300 cannabis plants of various sizes have been seized, ranging from seedlings several inches high to mature plants of four or five feet.
“A number of other items were also seized from the properties.”
The spokesperson added: “We are continuing to investigate the circumstances of this find and are appealing for any information which might assist. Contact Shrewsbury police station on the 101 non emergency number or the anonymous Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
“This is the latest in a series of search warrants in Shropshire granted under the Misuse of Drugs Act. We urge people to contact the police if they suspect illegal drug activity is taking place.”
