Family carers and their friends from across Shropshire are being invited to a special event in Shrewsbury later this month where both gardening tips and local carer support information will be available.
Award-winning garden centre Love Plants, at Salop Leisure, in Shrewsbury, is the venue for a full tour, afternoon tea and hanging basket demonstration, to be hosted by the Carers Support Service of Shropshire RCC at 2.30pm on Wednesday 22 April.
Diane Cuff of Shropshire RCC said: “Love Plants is yet another of the county’s prestigious businesses to sign up for the ICare Card scheme which offers discounts on goods and services for people who care for loved ones.
“Normal discounts are usually around 10% but Love Plants are kindly offering 15% to carers on the day, so we are looking forward to welcoming many people to what promises to be a very special afternoon.”
