Shropshire Disability Network to raffle giant Easter egg

Shropshire Disability Network Press Officer Ruby Hartshorn said: “we are so pleased and thankful to Magna Foods as last year we missed out on receiving one of these eggs so we feel so privileged this year.

“We will be raffling the egg together with a couple of other prizes at the AFC Telford Utd v Darlington match this Saturday.

“We are grateful to Telford United Football Club Management Team as they have agreed that we can go to their home game to raise funds enabling the network to continue their work.”

The Shropshire Disability Network is run totally by volunteers publishing information on line and in print for those with no IT access.

The network also holds quarterly meetings for members.

Its hoped Saturday’s fundraising at AFC Telford Utd will raise a far amount of money enabling the group to continue their work of signposting people to people in Shropshire including Telford and Wrekin to relevant, up to date information, news and views that are important to those with a disability, their families and carers.
