Shropshire Chamber of Commerce organised a ‘Meet the Neighbours’ networking function for companies located on Shrewsbury Business Park, situated near Emstrey Island in the county town.

The early evening event was hosted by Nick Jones Wealth Management and attended by around 60 representatives from local firms and organisations.
Nick Jones, commented: “We believe this to be the first event of its kind on the park and the response from our neighbours has been simply fantastic, with lots of very positive feedback on the benefits of networking in such an informal atmosphere at the end of the working day.”
Chamber chief executive, Richard Sheehan, welcomed people by saying: “The chamber is strongly committed to business growth throughout Shropshire which includes arranging social networking events such as these which provide the business community with the opportunity to get connected, and to promote links with people that they may see each day but never normally get to meet.
“We have several future neighbourly networking occasions planned for other business parks and industrial estates throughout the county and further details will be posted on the chamber website.”
Shrewsbury Business Park manager Anthony Scanlon, added: “The park actively encourages business to meet one another and help create a closer community as whatever product or service somebody may be looking for could well be only steps away from them.
“We are therefore very grateful to Nick Jones and Shropshire chamber for organising this neighbourhood networking event and to all the people who have come along and supported it.”
