One of the Midlands’ leading telecoms companies has expanded into a purpose-built £750,000 head office in Shropshire.
Award-winning firm Pure Telecom, now a leading name in mobile, fixed and hosted telecoms systems for companies of all sizes across the UK, has purchased a larger base on Shrewsbury Business Park, enhancing its facilities for staff and customers.
Founder Matt Sandford said that although his company had only moved ‘next door’ this major investment was an important milestone for Pure.
“We now have a bigger head office, to be called Michael Place, which features specially-designed training rooms and more space for presentations, meetings and product displays,” he said.
“The team here is growing rapidly, with the recruitment of five new members of staff recently, and there are further plans for development, so the new head office will enable us to expand even further.
“Customers will also be better catered for at the enlarged offices, which have more car parking spaces and are located in a very convenient position.”
The ground floor of the 4,392 sq ft two-storey building is now occupied by Handelsbanken, who provided financial backing for the move.
Handelsbanken’s corporate banking manager Lindsay Pearson commented: “Pure have been customers for many years and we were delighted to be able to support them with the purchase of these fantastic new premises.
“Also, as a tenant, we are enjoying the move to the more prominent position on the business park which will assist with our continued expansion of Handelsbanken in Shrewsbury.”
Alan Hay of Shrewsbury Business Park owners Alaska Property Group said that the development of Michael Place was especially pleasing as it provided larger offices to two concerns who had ‘grown with the park’, reaffirming its location as one of the best in the county.
