32 local businesses who currently have vacancies to fill will be available for people to meet and submit applications for jobs at the event which takes place this Friday 12 September 2014 at Shirehall, Abbey Foregate, between 10 am and 2pm.
Daniel Kawczynski said: “Last year’s Fair attracted some 400 people and I am confident that this years’ event will be bigger and better. I am very grateful to the employers that are supporting this initiative and I hope that it will open up opportunities for the people of Shrewsbury who are looking for employment.
There is no charge to attend this event so if there are any other employers who would like to have a stand, it is not too late, just call my constituency office on 01743 233646 and we can arrange for a space to be made available.
For those wishing to meet prospective employers, just turn up at Shirehall. The business stands will be set up in the Foyer and Council Chamber close to main reception.”
