Alan Ward, Shropshire’s largest independent furniture and home store, will launch its Festival of Furniture summer sale on June 13 and bosses are looking forward to showing off the new modern redesign.
Kathy Lesser, marketing manager, said: “The re-design has been a massive project for everyone involved and we have already had droves of people visit us telling us they don’t even recognise the store.
“The sale is a popular time but this sale will be especially busy due to the completion of the redesign and we are celebrating with a Festival of Furniture to showcase the new showroom interior and the exciting new ranges on offer.”
Miss Lesser added: “The newly redesigned flagship store is proving to be hugely popular, a lot of customers are saying that they want to show their friends and family how we have changed.
“The Alan Ward store now stocks a wide range of homeware and gifts, as well as lighting, a dedicated cookshop and a coffee shop.
“We are more than a shopping trip now – we are a place where people meet friends for coffee or lunch, browse and enjoy the whole experience.
“We are very proud of our new look store, we really feel it reflects the sophisticated style and the unique flare of the products we sell.”
Alan Ward has diversified its range of products to provide something for all tastes.
Miss Lesser added: “For many years customers have made Alan Ward their first choice for quality furniture and they have seen us transform the business over that time.
“But what is important for us is the customers will still meet the same familiar faces at the store as the staff have enjoyed the redesign with us and remain with us – some may have moved departments but you’ll just have to ensure you look around the whole store to say hello to them.”
