Radfield Home Care was crowned winner of the Promoting Dignity and Respect category at the annual Shropshire Partners in Care Awards, which aims to recognise and celebrate care individuals and organisations across the region. The ceremony took place at the Lord Hill Hotel in Shrewsbury on Friday 28th March, where guest speaker and Paralympic gold medallist, Tanni Grey-Thompson, addressed attendees.
“We’re thrilled to have won such a fantastic award,” Dr Hannah MacKechnie, Director of Radfield Home Care, explained: “We place great emphasis on providing effective and high quality care, through training, development and the ongoing empowerment of our team, so that they reach their full potential and provide the best possible care to our clients. Dignity and respect are absolutely core values to us so being recognised by such a respected industry organisation for them is extremely rewarding and demonstrates our commitment.”
The team at Radfield Home Care were also finalists in the Company of the Year category. The awards were open to individuals and companies and categories included a Team Award, Healthy Eating Award, as well as Learner of the Year, Nurse of the Year, and Registered Manager Award.
“Shropshire is our home county and we’re proud to support not only our clients based here, but their family, and loved ones too. We had a fantastic time at the 1920s-themed ceremony where our team came together to celebrate and recognise achievements across the care sector and look forward to celebrating even more successes in the months and years to come,” Hannah concluded.
