Four new members of staff are now in place at Pure Telecom, based on Shrewsbury’s Business Park.

Rachel Hughes, Kate Campbell, Struan Malcolm and James Hosie will be responsible for customer service and business development at the firm, which specialises in all aspects of mobile and landline communications.

The company, which was founded seven years ago by Shrewsbury businessman Matt Sandford, also provides broadband/fibre, hosted exchange, handset and vehicle-tracking solutions for the SME and the small corporate sector.

Matt commented: “It is very exciting for us to be able to appoint four local people to create a new team here and it is good news for the Shropshire economy.

“We have a large client base in the county and the West Midlands but have dynamic plans to expand our services into surrounding counties.

“All four new recruits are highly motivated individuals who will help us to ensure that clients have one point of contact for all aspects of converged telecoms.”
