As well as providing a home, the conversion will help secure the future of the farm by allowing the second generation of the family to stay and help with the business instead of having to move away.
The farm, near Much Wenlock, is run by two brothers, with help from their family, who wanted to live as close as possible to make sure the farm kept going.
But trouble finding a property in the area threatened to derail their plans until they came up with the idea of converting the farm’s old milking parlour which had lain empty for 20 years.
