Equine photographer raises money for Injured Jockeys Fund

Richard Dawson who specialises in Equine photography decided to raise some money for the IJF, which is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year by creating a Calendar with some of his photographs taken at last years races including local race course Eyton-on-Severn.

Richard sais: “The response has been fantastic, we have raised nearly £300” Richard also had 2 of his calendars signed by Champion Jockey AP McCoy which were raffled off with all the proceeds going to the IJF.

“I am very grateful to everybody who bought one and especially grateful to the local businesses Wynnstay and Battlefield 1403 who kindly stocked the Calendar for me.”
