As one of the Prince’s Countryside Fund projects, the WiRE (Women in Rural Enterprise) Networks are inviting people to connect with some of the brilliant rural businesses; which might be just next door to them, and to see how networking helps start, support and grow all these rural businesses.
Come and join the Oswestry & Borders WiRE Network for a special National Countryside Week event on17th July at 10am at Qube in Oswestry.
Victoria Elms from The Prince’s Countryside Fund explains, “National Countryside Week is an ideal opportunity to explore our beautiful countryside and talk to all the communities, people and businesses which keep it vibrant and alive. The projects opening their doors for National Countryside Week have received grants from The Prince’s Countryside Fund to carry out vital work to protect, improve and sustain rural life, and we should all celebrate the difference they’re making.”
Polly Gibb WiRE Director said: “The Prince’s Countryside Fund recognises the contribution that female entrepreneurs are making to the rural community, and the potential for that to be even greater. WiRE has members in every rural part of the UK and we know that access to a local network of like-minded people can really help new businesses survive and grow.
The funding helps us to support these networks and celebrate the work of our network leaders who are key individuals, stepping forward to do something positive for their community and for the UK economy.”
