Car fire spreads to garage in Broseley

Firefighters from Much Wenlock and Tweedale were called to a fire on Wilkinson Avenue in Broseley early this morning.

The incident began as a car fire, which subsequently spread to the attached garage of a property.

Fire crews arrived were called to the scene at 1.35am and extinguished the blaze using breathing apparatus and four hose reel jets.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation with police also in attendance at the scene.

Fire crews spent around an hour putting out the fire.
