Shropshire Homes is to host a consultation event in Shawbury after revealing plans to build 60 new homes in the village
Under the plans, the new homes would be built on land between Aries Drive and Poynton Road, along with biodiversity improvements and the repair of Listed Kilns.
Andrew Rogers, Land Manager at Shropshire Homes commented “We are excited to share our plans with the community after many months of preparatory work.
“This site, which has been identified in Shropshire Council’s draft Local Plan, will provide 60 high-quality homes and include 9 affordable homes for those who need them the most.”
A drop-in consultation will be held at Shawbury Village Hall on Thursday 11th May between 3-6pm.
Representatives of Shropshire Homes will be available to answer queries and discuss the proposal. The consultation will also provide the public with an opportunity to leave any comments on the proposals.
