Police in Telford are trying to trace a driver who was involved in a collision in Leegomery recently.
The collision happened in Grainger Drive at about 3.30pm on Thursday, 10 November and involved a vehicle, believed to be a metallic orange coloured Jeep, and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a seven-year-old girl, did not appear to be injured at the time but it has since come to light that she has suffered injuries to her foot.
The driver, a white woman in her late fifties or early sixties, stopped at the time to check the girl’s welfare but then left the scene without leaving any contact details.
Investigating officers would like to talk to her, or anyone else who witnessed the incident.
