Arrests made after man is assaulted twice by four men in Telford

Three men from Telford have been arrested following after a man was assaulted twice in Telford last month.

West Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses or information following the incident on Tuesday 22 March.

Between approximately 3pm and 4pm, the victim was walking in Leegomery along Leegate Avenue, when he was assaulted by four men who arrived in the area in a silver-coloured vehicle.

The victim, a man in his 40s, was then assaulted again a short while later in the area of Limes Walk, Oakengates by the same males.

He sustained injuries to his back, head and face which required hospital treatment.

A 21 year-old man, a 22 year-old man and a 46 year-old man, all from Telford, have been arrested on suspicion of wound/inflict grievous bodily harm without intent and are currently on bail until 25 April 2016.
