A Telford-based self storage company has demonstrated its ongoing commitment to the local community by providing an essential base for a team of volunteer first responders.
The Space Place has donated a dedicated storage room in its Stafford Park 9 unit to the Telford & Wrekin Community First Responders, which serves as a vital base for the volunteers to store essential equipment, uniforms and fundraising tools.
Steve Brown of the Telford & Wrekin Community First Responders said: “Without the company’s generous support, our team of 15 volunteers would have to store materials and equipment in their homes and garages which, as you can imagine, is far from ideal.”
David Cole, Director of The Space Place, added: “As a business, we’re proud to support local projects and initiatives, and are delighted that the room has helped the Telford & Wrekin Community First Responders carry out the fantastic work they do.
“When it comes to self storage, it’s important to know your belongings are in the very safest of hands, and this couldn’t be more true for the Community First Responders, who rely on their stored items to quite literally save lives. We look forward to supporting the team in the months and years ahead.”
