Staff and customers were yesterday evacuated from an Indian restaurant on the A458 near Shrewsbury after a fire broke out.
Fireifghters were called to Saffron Cottage in Ford at around 5.45pm yesterday to tackle the blaze.
Part of the A458 was closed to traffic whilst a nearby Shell petrol station was asked to stop selling fuel.
Firefighters from Shrewsbury, Minsterley and Tweedale used three covering jets, three hose reel jets, breathing apparatus in use and the aerial ladder Platform to tackle the fire.
They also worked on cooling a nearby LPG tank.
No one was injured during the incident.
