Artisan food and drink from local producers will be making a TV appearance as Wenlock Hampers feature on shopping channel QVC on Tomorrow.
Wenlock Hampers are produced by Shrewsbury based food group Heart of England fine foods (HEFF) which teamed together high quality products from local producers in a themed gift hamper.
Two members of the HEFF team, Jon May from Kidderminster, and Vicki Collins from Sutton Coldfield, will be on air on the QVC channel between 4pm-5pm on Tuesday 16 October promoting the delicious hampers.
Two hampers will be available to buy Exclusive only to QVC; the Great Taste Award Hamper, which contains products from local producers who have won the Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Awards, and the Sweet Selection, which contains locally produced sweet treats such as toffee, chocolate covered Brazils, yogurt coated cranberries and apple and raspberry fruit juice.
The products in the hampers come from The Ludlow Co, Shropshire, Cottage Delight, Leek, Staffordshire, Walkers Nonsuch, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, and Bensons Totally Fruity, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
The hamper boxes are themed with images of sporting Britain as HEFF began as an organisation in Much Wenlock, Shropshire – the birthplace of the modern Olympic Games.
