A Shropshire MP has pressed the Government to protect rural Post Offices and urged people to have their voices heard in a consultation over the service.
After more than a year of closure and persistent campaigning, the Post Office in Cleobury Mortimer is scheduled to reopen its doors to the public towards the end of this month.
North Shropshire MP Helen Morgan has launched a petition to Save Oswestry Post Office, which is one of 115 larger ‘crown branches’ that have been listed at risk of closure.
