DM Recruitment is teaming up with Shrewsbury Town in the Community with the sponsorship of two sporting events this year.
On the 9 May they will be holding the South Shropshire Golf Day at Ludlow Golf Club.
There will be 18 holes of Texas scramble style golf, for teams of four players. This novel style creates a fun and inclusive day for golfers of all standards. Each team member tees off as normal and the best shot is chosen for everyone on the team to use for their next shot. This continues until the hole is played out, and each team returns one score for each hole. As well as the 18 holes of golf, there will also be a two-course dinner provided within the ticket price of £160 per team.
The second event will be the Summer Cup Tournament 2019 on 31 August at Ludlow Football Stadium for football mad youngsters.
This event will be open to grass roots football teams from U7s to U12s. It will be a great way to warm up for the season ahead with a fun day of football. This will be the third annual tournament, with last year’s event being a great success with 60 teams competing. Games will be split over the morning and afternoon, and the entry cost is £25 per team.
