The A458 between Shrewsbury and Middletown was closed for a time this afternoon following a three vehicle collision involving an overturned cattle trailer.
Drivers were advised to find an alternative route following the incident outside the Windmill Inn at Rowton.
Highways England says the collision left a cattle trailer on its side, it is currently unknown if the trailer was carrying any livestock.
The road is now clear.
