Police today released details of the incident which happened at 3.15pm on Thursday 19 June, at Roden Nurseries on Roden Lane.
The suspect was alleged to have been abusive towards the couple, before punching the man in the face and pushing the woman to the ground.

Both the man and the woman sustained injuries, and were taken to hospital.
PC Chris Rogers at Malinsgate CID is asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact 101 quoting incident number 449 of the 19 June.
