The motorcyclist suffered a serious head injury after he came off his bike following a collision with signs on a roundabout near to Weston Park in Weston-under-Lizard at around 6.30am this morning.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival at the scene crews found a motorcyclist who had come off his bike after he’d
reportedly been in collision with some street furniture.
“The man, believed to be in his 40’s, was treated on scene for a serious head injury. He was immobilised and conveyed to Princess Royal Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
Traffic around Weston-under-Lizard was reported to be extremely busy this morning with music fans heading to the V Festival taking place this weekend at Weston Park.
