Supporting the front-line Leaders are managers and supporters. Volunteers, who bring a variety of skills and experience to allow Scouting to be fun, safe and legal. It is this band of volunteers Shropshire Scouts are looking to grow.

From Communications to Safety via Data Protection, Shropshire Scouts are looking for volunteers with specialist knowledge to develop the support we provide to our Leaders.

Roles currently available include Communications Strategy Lead, Treasurer, Data Protection Officer, Trainers, Safety Lead and Digital Programme Lead.

Further details for each of these roles can be found at: https://do-it.org/organisations/shropshire-scouts

Dexter Williams; Lead Volunteer said: “The brilliance of volunteering with The Scouts is we can build the role around the person and provide them with the correct support to develop however they want. Across Scouting we have a variety of ages and experiences all working collaboratively for the benefit of the Young People. These roles would be just as suitable for somebody studying in these particular fields or someone with years of experience.”
