Snowdrop walks at Dudmaston Hall

Snowdrops

As we are all aware the weather conditions across the country have been atrocious over the last few weeks and this has had an impact on the property.

The property’s Ranger team have been working hard to implement a footpath re-grading plan investing £10,000 on access through the Dingle in readiness for when the property opens in March. However, the majority of this work has coincided with the downpours that have continued more or less non stop for weeks and hence the area may not be looking at its best.

General Manager, Marcus Halliwell said: “the paths that have been put in are looking fantastic and mean you can walk most of the routes on stone, but we are asking our visitors to be prepared as there are parts of the routes that are still on grass and these may be slippery in places, so sturdy walking boots, wellingtons and warm waterproof winter clothing are highly recommended. The car parking area is also extremely wet which may mean we have to restrict parking in some areas.

“Unfortunately the weather conditions have also meant that our snowdrop displays are not as spectacular as in previous years. The walks through the Dingle and around Big Pool are however still a great way to take the opportunity to get out in the fresh air and take in the winter scenes on property and we are looking forward to welcoming our visitors.”

For further information and to check on the latest conditions at the property please call (01746) 780866.

Entry to the Dudmaston Hall winter park, shop and tearoom is: Adults £3.00, Children £1.50, Family £7.50.
