Building on the success of their season last year, the National Trust’s Dudmaston Estate, Nr. Bridgnorth, is in the process of recruiting new volunteers in time for when they open their doors again to visitors in March.
Dudmaston is an extremely diverse estate, with a number of different roles to fill and will be hosting a volunteer recruitment drop-in session in their Orchard Tea-room on Tuesday, 11 February between 10.30 and 12. Here people will get the chance to meet both staff and existing volunteers and have a chat about the roles on offer and what they involve.
The property’s Volunteer Champion Tessa Lovell said “Our volunteers are a vital part of the property team and we welcomed over 60 new faces in 2013 who have made a huge contribution to the running of the property, both in front of and behind the scenes.
“We have loads of opportunities for more to join us in 2014 and really help us bring the place to life.
“Volunteering can mean a whole range of things to people, from enjoying new experiences and meeting new friends, to gaining skills in specific areas of work; there is something here for everyone”.
If you would like to find out more please call Tessa Lovell on 01746 780866 or email: dudmaston.volunteer@nationaltrust.org.uk, or just drop by on the day.
