Phil Hoyle Shropshire UFO Casebook Part 5 Animal Mutilations

Numerous reports of animal mutilations have surfaced in Shropshire, particularly along a corridor of activity known as the Hope and Rea Valley on the Shropshire border.

Part 5 – Animal Mutilations

Along the Hope and Rea Valley on the Shropshire border, a disturbing pattern of animal mutilations has emerged—part of a wider corridor of unexplained activity.

These cases bear all the hallmarks of the infamous incidents reported in the United States and elsewhere: strange aerial lights drifting over farmland at night, followed by the discovery of dead livestock in the morning—bodies mutilated with chilling precision.

Local farmers are no strangers to these events. One told me bluntly, “I’m not seeing lights anymore. I’m seeing spaceships.” Another, living only a few miles away, encountered something even more extraordinary. In broad daylight, he stepped outside and found himself face-to-face with a golden sphere hovering nearby. The sphere pulsed, then shifted into a black, opaque shape. Two interior lights blinked on, revealing movement inside.

Then, without warning, a voice spoke inside his head: “We told you we will be back.”

The object morphed back into a golden sphere and shot away, hugging the land’s contours at an altitude of around 200 feet before vanishing from sight.

The mutilations themselves follow a grim, consistent profile: clinical removal of flesh from the jaw and face, one eye and ear taken, sometimes the tip of the tongue severed. In many cases, the rectum and reproductive organs are excised entirely. The animals are completely drained of blood—yet no blood is found on the carcass or the surrounding ground.

Veterinary surgeons and pathologists who have studied these remains agree: the incisions do not resemble knife wounds. They appear to have been made using highly advanced tools—possibly an energy-based laser or ultrasonic scalpel.

In one case I investigated in Briggsdale, Weld County, Colorado, a mutilated calf was examined under a microscope. What the laboratory found defied explanation. The injury was neither a cut nor a burn. Not a single cell had been destroyed. The incision had been made between the cells—separating them with flawless precision along their natural boundaries.

The laboratory examiner’s conclusion was stark:
“I don’t think mankind has the ability to do what has been done here.”
