The headline comedy acts to appear at this year’s V Festival have been revealed.
Scottish funnyman Frankie Boyle will lead the comedy shenanigans alongside fellow V Festival debutant and Essex boy Russell Kane in the Glee Club Comedy Tent.
The duo will headline alongside an array of comedy heavyweights guaranteed to bring some side-splitting humour to the popular fifth stage, including Seann Walsh, Shappi Khorsandi, Nick Helm and Gary Delaney.
Russell Kane commented: “’I can’t believe I’m headlining the V Festival Glee Club Comedy Tent! I will celebrate afterwards by heading straight to the Dance Tent, and throwing myself around to techno music like a tribal chief beating a drum.”
Making her second appearance at V Festival, Shappi Khorsandi said: “Sadly, rock stardom didn’t happen for me so performing at V Festival’s Glee Club Comedy Tent is the very next best thing.”
The V Festival is a two day music and comedy festival at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire on the 22 and 23 August 2015.
