A Ludlow based female entrepreneur who helps global companies, teams and senior managers to successfully market their goods and services across different cultures has been named as one of the finalists in the Women Who… Awards.

Marina Ibrahim, founder of Bizz Buzz, a Cultural Intelligence Consultancy set up in 2011, was named as a finalist for the Woman Who Achieves Internationally Category, at an event celebrating International Women’s Day on 8th March 2019.
Marina is up against three other companies in the category; after face to face interviews next month, the winner will be announced at the Woman Who Achieves Awards lunch being held on 7th June 2019. The awards were set up inspire and celebrate the achievements of women in business as well as Rising Stars still in education or training.
Marina says: “I am thrilled to be named as a finalist in my first year of entering these awards. My work takes me across Europe, training and coaching executives in how to become culturally competent. The momentum created by Brexit has meant that many companies are now looking to trade outside of Europe. This creates a whole new ‘world is your oyster’ opportunity – but also considerable risks, if cultural differences are not recognised.”
The awards will take place at a lunch for over 200 attendees on Friday 7 June 2019 at Coombe Abbey Hotel, Coventry.
