Shukers Land Rover hosted an evening Champagne reception for invited guests to launch its new £3.5 million investment showrooms and service centre in Parys Road, Ludlow.
Guided tours were offered around the new complex which houses the latest design of showroom for the Land Rover Evoque, Discovery and Range Rover vehicles, together with offices, workshops, large external vehicle display areas and technical service centres.
Mayor of Ludlow, Councillor Paul Draper was guest of honour, saying: “This iconic vehicle dealership is a real asset to the area and shows true commitment to the town by Shukers Land Rover.
“It is not only helping to regenerate this area of Ludlow in particular, but will hopefully encourage other firms to set-up here and I sincerely wish Shukers every success for the future.”
Dealership head of business, Joe Barney, added: “We are delighted to be one of the first Arch Concept dealerships in the country, which is Land Rover’s new corporate image and will gradually be introduced elsewhere across the whole of the UK.
“The feedback this evening has been very positive indeed regarding both the ambience of the building and the choice of materials used to create a wonderful environment.
“We are now looking forward to growing the Land Rover brand at this amazing new facility, covering Shropshire, Herefordshire and Mid Wales.”
