Two of Europe’s leading biomass heating specialists are scheduled to visit Welshpool-based Organic Energy within days of each other as the sustainable heating firm gears up for a flurry of exciting new product launches.
Stefan Ortner, CEO of Austrian wood pellet boiler specialists ÖkoFEN, will visit the renewable energy firm on Wednesday 25th November to introduce the Austrian company’s latest innovation in state-of-the-art wood pellet heating systems and confirm the timing for the launch into the UK market.
Organic Energy is already the sole distributor for the UK and Ireland for ÖkoFEN wood pellet boilers, widely regarded as the most technologically advanced pellet heating system in the world.
Organic Energy’s Managing Director, Andy Boroughs, will tell Mr. Ortner that demand is increasing across UK domestic and commercial markets for best-in-class environmentally-sound heating solutions as concerns around climate change and energy security heighten as winter approaches.
Andy Boroughs said: “The world’s oil and gas reserves are increasingly fragile. We learned this week that global average temperatures broke through the 1˚centigrade barrier as the concentration of man-made greenhouse gases in the atmosphere reached a worrying new record. Allied to a turbulent geo-political landscape, particularly in risk-prone regions like Russia, and it’s clear to see why we are we are handling more enquiries than ever before from consumers keen to switch to a wood pellet boiler. It’s a safe, secure and environmentally sustainable option.
“There is a huge appetite for change in the country for the way we consume energy. The UK is now the third largest market for the ÖkoFEN range and demand is growing for a wider choice of technically sophisticated ÖkoFEN wood pellet heating systems at varying price points.
Stefan Ortner’s visit will come hot on the heels of his Chief Technical Officer, Ernst Wurm. ÖkoFEN’s CTO flies in specially to deliver an advanced technical masterclass exclusively for Organic Energy Approved Installer engineers at the company’s dedicated training facility in Welshpool next week.
“Both visits are a testament to the strength of our reputation for service excellence and product expertise at home and in Europe. Stefan and Ernst’s ringing endorsement has made the whole team here in Welshpool very proud.”
