The scheme rewards small businesses that tweet @TheoPaphitis and pitch their business in one tweet, between the hours of 17.00 and 19.00 every Sunday. Paphitis, best known for appearing on BBC Two’s Dragon’s Den, then reviews and selects six of his favourite. This week PipeKit’s emphasis on technical support and customer service clinched it for the young company, causing unprecedented levels of activity for PipeKit on both its social media networks and website.

As a result, PipeKit’s Twitter account went stratospheric, gaining over 100 new followers within minutes and countless re-tweets, as well as opening the door immediately to new business opportunities.
Commenting on the #SBS phenomenon, Martyn Rowlands, owner and M.D of PipeKit said: “We were thrilled to be picked by Theo. PipeKit’s win becomes the 17th Shropshire based company to be bestowed this honor since the initiative was set up in 2010.
