Shropshire IT company celebrate at pageant

The pageant was attended by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh to celebrate her Diamond Jubilee and was attended by well over 40,000 people.

Nick Dodd sales manager for Midland Computers, based at Halesfield, said: “As soon as we heard about this spectacular event, we jumped at the chance to take part, as not only was it be a fabulous way to join in with the people of Shropshire to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, but we also showcased some of our products and services to the county.

“We already work with some of Shropshire’s top name firms but of course are pleased that our team of staff, who were suitably dressed for the occasion in red, white and blue, were able to network and develop relationships with new customers at the pageant.”

Around 5,000 schoolchildren attended the event alongside thousands of people representing the many aspects of industry, commerce and agriculture from across the county.
