Building on the success of their season last year, the National Trust’s Dudmaston Estate, near Bridgnorth, are in the process of recruiting new volunteers in time for when they open their doors again to visitors in March.

Dudmaston is an extremely diverse estate, with a number of different roles to fill and will be hosting a volunteer recruitment drop-in session in their Orchard Tea-room on Wednesday, 4 February between 10.30am and 12.30pm. Here potential volunteers will get to meet both staff and existing volunteers and have a chat about the roles on offer, and how they may be able to help.

Visitor Experience and Conservation Manager, Tessa Lovell, said:

“Our volunteers are a vital part of the property team and each year we welcome some extra faces to help us bring the place to life. Volunteering can mean a whole range of things to people, from enjoying new experiences and meeting new friends, to gaining new skills and discovering new hobbies; with opportunities in areas from gardening to baking there is something here for everyone”.

If you are interested in attending one of the sessions, or would like to find out more please call Tessa Lovell on 01746 780866 or email dudmaston.volunteer@nationaltrust.org.uk
